I am writing to you on behalf of FOSSCOMM, which is a civil- society alliance of organizations and individuals working to promote the use of Free, and Open Source Software (FOSS) in India. We were pleased at the pro-FOSS, and pro- open content emphasis
We were pleased at the pro-FOSS, and pro-open content emphasis in the MHRD draft policy on ICTs in school education, and would like to commit our enthusiastic support for the adoption, and implementation of this policy. There are also some small matters that we would like to see addressed in the final policy document.
Towards that end, I am attaching a PDF copy of our comments on the draft policy document. A copy has also been FAXed to your office, and a second copy sent to you in the post. Thank you for allowing us this opportunity to provide input on the draft policy.
